Commercial peanut harvester exported to Ghana brings big improvement to peanut farm

Last month, one of our commercial peanut harvesters was successfully delivered to Ghana, helping a local farm significantly improve peanut harvesting efficiency and crop quality.

Customer background

A large-scale peanut farm in Ghana reached out to purchase a modern harvesting solution to replace traditional manual digging and reduce labor intensity. They sought a machine that could improve harvesting efficiency, minimize crop loss, and operate reliably under local soil and climate conditions.

Machine selection and specifications

The customer chose our commercial peanut harvester — model HS-800 — which is powered by a 20–35 HP tractor and weighs 280 kg.

  • Harvesting capacity: 1300–2000 ㎡/hour.
  • Harvest width: 800 mm, suitable for two-row peanut planting.
  • Compact size: 2100 × 1050 × 1030 mm, making transport and field maneuvering easier.
  • High harvesting rate: ≥ 98%, low breakage (≤ 1%), and good cleaning rate (≥ 95%).

This machine integrates digging, loosening, soil shaking, conveying, and laying functions — performing the full peanut harvesting cycle in one pass, significantly improving efficiency.

Ordering and logistics

After confirming requirements and soil conditions, we prepared the HS-800 harvester for export to Ghana. Packaging was carefully done to ensure safe shipping, and all documentation for customs and importation was handled for the customer.

Installation & field deployment

Upon arrival, the customer mounted the HS-800 on their existing tractor (meeting the 20–35 HP requirement) and began field operations. The compact design and reasonable weight made setup and deployment fast and smooth.

Harvesting results & benefits

  • The commercial peanut harvester greatly reduced labor requirements, cutting manual digging and loosening by more than 70%.
  • Harvesting rate and output per hour increased significantly, allowing the farm to harvest large areas rapidly thanks to the machine’s 1300–2000 ㎡/h capacity.
  • The gentle digging and soil shaking mechanism ensured peanuts were harvested intact with minimal breakage (≤ 1%) and low loss, resulting in higher yield and less waste.
  • Cleaning and soil separation features produced cleaner peanuts, reducing post-harvest processing and saving additional labor and time.

Customer feedback & future plans

The customer expressed strong satisfaction with the performance of the commercial peanut harvester, highlighting improved working speed, reduced labor costs, and cleaner harvest output. Encouraged by the results, they plan to purchase additional units for the next planting season to expand their harvesting capacity.
